Overview
Back-to-back Test matches provide the perfect opportunity to experience the ebb and flow of an Ashes Series in a short time frame and be home in time for Christmas. Be one of the first to see (or maybe sit in) the new West Stand at the Adelaide Oval before heading to the ‘WACA’ in Perth renowned its fast bowler friendly pitches – expect the wickets to tumble here.
Make the most of your time outside the Tests on this action-packed tour. Take a day trip to Adelaide’s charming sandy white beach suburb of Glenelg. In Perth squeeze in a Swan Valley wine tour or nature lovers can do a spot of whale watching which is still in season in early December.
Tickets
You will receive guaranteed gold match tickets to the 2nd and 3rd Test Matches:
- 2nd Test at the Adelaide Oval in Adelaide from the 5th to the 9th of December.
- 3rd Test at the WACA in Perth from the 13th to the 17th December.
Accommodation
You will stay in one of the finest hotels in each of your host cities:
- 7 nights at the Adelaide Hilton in Adelaide.
- 7 nights at the Hyatt Regency in Perth.
Travel
Your trip includes international return flights, all airport transfers; and match transfers for the 2nd Test Match in Adelaide. Due to the excellent location of the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Perth, a match transfer is not required.

The Hyatt Regency in Perth is an outstanding hotel situated close to the central business district, the historic St. Georges Terrace and Murray Street as well as the city’s many attractions.

Take advantage of the hotel’s fine dining facilities and enjoy an array of oriental dishes at Joe’s Oriental Diner or head to La Strada for a more casual dining environment. After a sumptuous meal, head to the Conservatory, the focal point of the hotel, where you can enjoy one of the many fine wines or exquisite cocktails.

Itinerary
Day 1 | 2 December
Depart London Heathrow for your flight to Adelaide.
Day 2 | 3 December
This day will be spent in flight. You will then have a stop-over and meet your connecting flight to Adelaide.
Day 3 | 4 December
On arrival to Adelaide join catch your transfer from the airport to the luxury Adelaide Hilton Hotel. Check in for your 7-night stay.
This day is for you to enjoy at your own leisure. You may feel the need to catch up on sleep after the long-haul flight or you may be eager to get out and explore the city. If the latter is your choice, why not visit the River Torrens which offers a spectacular walking trail from the city to the beach with exceptional opportunities to enjoy and capture Adelaide’s beautiful, breathtaking scenery at its best. Or, take a trip to the Botanic Gardens, an idyllic location in the Adelaide sun, with a Bicentennial conservatory, historic buildings as well as fantastic art works.
Alternatively, you may prefer to get up close and personal with Australia’s renowned wildlife at the Cleland Wildlife Park. Koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, dingoes and wombats can all be found here and with friendly, informative staff who encourage feeding the animals, camera’s definitely need to be at the ready!
Day 4 – 8 | 5th-9th December
Each morning you can enjoy a hearty breakfast which will set you up for the day’s events. You will meet your transfer to The Adelaide Oval to watch the 2nd Test match. With the tickets, you will be able to enjoy all the action with amazing views of the match.
Day 9 | 10th December
On the morning of the 10th, after an indulgent breakfast, you will check out of the Adelaide Hilton hotel and take your transfer to the airport.
You will then catch a short, internal flight to the picturesque city of Perth just in time for the 3rd Test.
When you arrive in Perth catch your transfer to the luxury Hyatt Regency Hotel, Perth and check in for your 7-night stay. The rest of your day is for you to enjoy at your own leisure.
Day 10 – 11 | 11th – 12th December
These days are for you to enjoy at your own pace. As the world’s most remote capital city, Perth offers breathtakingly beautiful beaches, pristine parkland, a modern, cosmopolitan city and of course, it’s famously wonderful weather.
If you are looking to explore the city, Kings Park and Botanic Gardens are a must-see whilst in Perth. Overlooking the Swan River and Darling Range, this idyllic location is perfect for nature lovers where 319 species of native plants and 80 bird species are contained. With a spectacular view of the Perth Skyline, a visit to these gardens whether it during the day or at night is a definite must.
Cottesloe Beach on the other hand is beauty at your fingertips. With wide beaches, blue waters and grassy slopes for those with a dislike for sand, this is the perfect location to relax and unwind.
Day 12 – 16 | 13th – 17th December
Each morning you will take a short walk to the WACA to watch the 3rd Test match. With our tickets, you will be able to enjoy all the action with amazing views of the match. After play, you will walk back to the hotel.
Day 17 | 18th December
Check out of the hotel and take your airport transfer to Perth International Airport for your return flight from Perth back to the UK.
Day 18 | 19th December
Arrive back into the UK.
