This is only the second time that the Lions have played the Barbarians, and it looks set to be an absolute classic. Watch some of the finest players on the planet take to the field for 80 minutes of top international rugby.
Enjoy a luxurious weekend in Hong Kong with return flights from Heathrow and three nights accommodation at one of Hong Kong’s top hotels – the five-star Langham Hotel on Peking Road in Kowloon.
Tickets
You will receive guaranteed tickets for the Lions v Barbarians match charged at face value as soon as ticket prices are announced.
Accommodation
The Langham is one of Hong Kong’s leading five-star hotels and is right in the heart of Kowloon and close to all of Hong Kong’s major sights. It has a range of excellent bars and restaurants and a full fitness and spa suite. You’ll stay here for three nights on a bed and breakfast basis.
Travel
Overnight return flights and airport transfers are included in the price of this trip.
Extras
- On the evening of your first night in Hong Kong, you will be invited to a welcome reception at the Langham Hotel.
- Throughout your time in Hong Kong you will have the services of an experienced tour manager

Tickets
You will receive guaranteed tickets for the Lions v Barbarians match.
Tickets are yet to be released for this game therefore they are not included in the price of the trip. You will be invoiced at face value as soon as ticket prices are announced.
Travel
You will fly overnight from London Heathrow to Hong Kong on 29th May and arrive well rested the next morning.
On the evening of the 2nd of June you will fly back to Heathrow on another overnight flight and arrive into London on the morning of the 3rd of June.
All airport transfers are also included.
Accommodation
Your three nights at the Langham Hotel in Kowloon will be as luxurious and restful as you would expect from one of the city’s top five-star hotels. It sits conveniently in the centre of the Tsimshatsui area of the city – so you will be ideally placed for exploring the city, eating out and doing a little shopping.
The hotel boasts five excellent eateries, including the Michelin-starred T’ang Court and the very well regarded Bostonian American Restaurant, which has an excellent wine list and an experienced sommelier. If you should feel the need for a little exercise and pampering after all that fine dining, the Langham’s fitness centre and spa offers a range of treatments and an excellent heated rooftop pool.
Itinerary
Day 1 | 29 May
Fly London Heathrow to Hong Kong. Overnight in-flight.
Day 2 | 30 May
Flight arrives into Hong Kong. On arrival, transfer to the Langham Hotel where you will spend the next three nights.
Meet up with your Tour Manager and the rest of your tour party for welcome drinks this evening.
Perhaps toast your arrival tonight in one of the city’s many bars or restaurants. The lively areas of Wan Chai and Lan Kwai Fong are great places to start your night out.
Day 3 | 31 May
At leisure. Hong Kong is one of the most vibrant cities in the world and there is always plenty to see and do. Take a cable car up to Victoria Peak for lunch or dinner and enjoy the magnificent views over the city and harbour. Or perhaps visit another of Hong Kong’s best-loved attractions, Stanley Market, a great place for browsing and souvenir hunting or simply take a full day city tour to make the most of your time in this wonderful destination.
Day 4 | 01 Jun
The historic day has arrived when The Lions play their first match in Hong Kong against the Barbarians. The atmosphere around the city will reach fever pitch in the build-up to the match.
Day 5 | 02 Jun
Most of the day is at your leisure. You could head to the Causeway Bay area, which offers excellent shopping or take a harbour cruise aboard a traditional Chinese junk.
In the evening you will transfer to the airport and fly back to Heathrow.
Day 6 | 03 Jun
Arrive into London Heathrow in the morning.
