Overview
The finale tour encompasses Australia’s two grandest cities. The magnificent MCG hosts the Boxing Day Test match where an electric atmosphere is guaranteed in this astounding stadium that consistently draws one of the biggest crowds of the international test match calendar.
Arrive in Melbourne in time for the special cricket orientated Christmas Day lunch. Later in the tour arrive in Sydney and behold the breathtaking Sydney Harbour New Year celebrations. Both of these cosmopolitan cities are equally recognised for their rich arts and festival scene, spoiling you with their options on dining, drinking and local entertainment.
Tickets
You will receive guaranteed match tickets to the 4th and 5th Test Matches:
- 4th Test at the MCG in Melbourne 26th December – 30th December.
- 5th Test at the SCG in Sydney 3rd January – 7th January.
Accommodation
You will stay in one of the finest hotels each of your host cities has to offer.
- 7 nights at the Hilton on the Park in Melbourne.
- 8 nights at the Hilton Hotel in Sydney.
Travel
Your trip includes return international transfers and internal flights:
- Depart London Heathrow on the 22nd December.
- Arrive into Melbourne on the 24th December.
- Depart Melbourne on the 31st of December.
- Arrive into Sydney on the 31st December.
- Depart Sydney on the 8th of January.
- Arrive into London Heathrow on the 9th January.
- You will receive an airport transfer on your arrival and departure from both Melbourne and Sydney.
You will receive match transfers to the 5th Test Match in Sydney. - Due to the excellent location of the Hilton on the Park Hotel in Melbourne, a match transfer is not required.

Itinerary
Day 1 | 22nd December
Depart London Heathrow for your flight to Melbourne.
Day 2 | 23rd December
This day will be spent in-flight. You will then have a stop-over and meet your connecting flight to Melbourne.
Day 3 – 4 | 24th – 25th December
On arrival you will be met by one of the representatives and transferred to the luxury Hilton on the Park Hotel. These two days are to enjoy as you wish. Perhaps you are looking to relax in the comforts of the hotel or perhaps you would prefer to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day finding out what Melbourne has to offer.
In the heart of the city you will find the Royal Botanic Gardens, definitely worth a visit if you looking for a serene ambience in order to enjoy a beautiful and breathtaking landscape. Take a leisurely walk around the lake or perhaps enjoy a picnic if the Melbourne sun decides to shine.
Alternatively, book a table in one of Melbourne’s famously mouth-watering restaurants. Enjoy a few Christmas drinks and soak up the festive atmosphere then look forward to the luxury of having your Christmas meal cooked for you.
Day 5 – 9 | 26th – 30th December
The 4th Test match kicks off on Boxing Day. Each morning you will take a short walk to the MCG to watch the 4th Test match.With the tickets, you will be able to enjoy all the action with amazing views of the match. After play, the transfer will meet you to return back to the hotel.
Day 10 – 12 | 31st December 2013 – 2nd January
On the morning of the 31st you will need to check out of the hotel and meet your transfer in order to catch your internal flight to Sydney. These three days are for you to enjoy at your own pace and leisure. Why not celebrate the New Year like a true Sydneysider in awe of the spectacular fireworks of Sydney Harbour and its famous Bridge.
During the next couple of days, step inside the must-see world heritage-listed site – the Sydney Opera House. Step back in time and follow the footsteps of stars such as John Cleese and Pavarotti and let the Opera House uncover its hundreds of secrets and tales.
Alternatively, if you fancy a cliff top coastal walk featuring stunning views, picturesque beaches and jaw dropping cliffs, make sure you complete the Bondi to Coogee walk. The beaches and parks along the way offer the chance to swim and rest, relax and rejuvenate in one of the many cafes, restaurants or hotels.
Day 13 – 17 | 3rd January – 7th January
Each morning you will meet your transfer to the SCG to watch the 5th Test match. With the tickets, you will be able to enjoy all the action with amazing views of the match. After play, the transfer will meet you to return back to the hotel.
Day 18 | 8th January 2014
Catch your airport transfer to Sydney International Airport for your return flight home.
Day 19 | 9th January
Arrive into the UK.
