A1GP World Cup of Motorsport
The second World Cup of Motorsport - 2007/8 sees the A1 Grand Prix visiting
over 13 countries, with 25 nations represented team GB will want to take the title away from France. This truly is an exciting, challenging and
international addition to the motorsport calendar.
The simplicity of the concept is its greatest asset. Cars built around identical Lola chassis, powered by the same 3.4, V8
Zytec engines generating 550bhp, rigged out in national colours. The winner of each race will have to make the most of
it on the day, because there is no other advantage to be had - it is down to the skill of the driver and the passion of the
crowd that makes the difference.
